About The Band
The IMPACT Band is a monstrous 10-piece orchestra of funk that has been hauling its party-on-wheels around the eastern U.S. since our inception in January 2000. We have played throughout the mid-Atlantic region, from the Mohegan Sun Casino & Resort in Uncasville CT to the Grand Hotel and Seacrets in Ocean City MD; and from Pittsburgh to New York City.
What We Do
We play the groove that makes you move!
We're a dance party band and we love to funk it up. We do tunes from Earth Wind & Fire, Ohio Players, Kool & The Gang, KC & The Sunshine Band, Prince, and James Brown - up through Bruno Mars, Usher, Cee Lo Green, and Justin Timberlake. We cover material ranging from the 1970's to 2015.
Music that people can feel, that makes them want to start moving and up outta' their seats.
Why We Do It
Some bands play music as an artistic outlet. Some play to make lots of money. And some bands play for the express purpose of getting your funk on.
